 Battle of Chawinda
1st Armoured Brigade:- It consisted of two tank regiments (17 Poona Horse, 16 Light Cavalry) one tank squadron (from 62 Cavalry), and one and a quarter infantry battalion (lorry borne) etc which was tasked to advance in the first phase on axis Ramgarh-Harbal-Sabzkot-Chobara-Phillora.
There were misunderstandings galore between the infantry and armour commanders in the Second Battle of Chawinda’.92 Harbaksh states that 1st Armoured Division was asked to recapture Jassoran as it was intended to be used as the firm base, from where Indian infantry was to mount the main infantry attack on Chawinda.
The 6 Armoured Division was not a full strength division and consisted of a divisional headquarter, three armoured regiments (one of which was in Chamb for Grand Slam) two artillery regiments, two motorised infantry regiments and had no brigade headquarter.

 Philippine Scouts Heritage Society
With the redesignation of the Scout units as regiments of the Regular Army, the regimental numerals replaced the former "P." Shown are early (pre-1924) officers' insignia of the 45th, 57th and 62nd Infantry, along with enlisted collar discs worn by the 26th Cavalry, 45th and 62nd Infantry, and the 14th Engineers.
The abaca tree and star alluded to consolidation of the 45th with the 1st Philippine Infantry, the tree being native to the Philippines and the star a symbol of the old 1st Philippine Infantry.
This regiment's insignia was the crest of the regimental coat of arms — a black cavalry charger's head surmounted by a gauntleted arm wielding a sable, all over a gold and blue wreath.
