		USS Defiant, NX 74205, was the second starship to bare the name "Defiant" (the other one, NCC 1764,was a constitution class starship TOS) and the first in the "Defiant Class.
		The Defiant was originally thought to be a small transport ship but as it turned out it was the first to join starfleet's fleet against the Borg.
		In 2375 the Breen destroyed the U.S.S Defiant but the U.S.S Sao Paulo was sent to DS9 and renamed the Defiant.
