		I think UK Gold are probably going to show them all, as in 1997 UK Gold were showing the 1991 episodes and now I think they're on 1998 if I am not mistaken.
		Comedy shows may transfer to UK Comedy (or bring back UK Play and give it a decent number in the EPG) and recent/current non-prestige drama series that won't be shown on UK Drama shouldn't be shown on UK Gold until at least three years.

		On Friday May 7th 1999, the UK Treasury announced it was to sell 415 tonnes from its 715 tonnes of gold reserves, leaving 300 tonnes balance.
		UK gold reserves were 1432 tonnes in 1948, ranged from 2000 to 2500 tonnes between 1958 to 1965.
		Britain's currency was on the "gold standard" until 1931, whereby the pound could be converted to gold, and the Bank of England held gold as a reserve to underwrite the value of the pound.

		UKTV Gold, known as UK Gold until March 8, 2004, is a British television channel, launched on November 1, 1992, currently available on Sky satellite, cable, and terrestrial subscription via Top Up TV.
		Initially broadcast on an analogue transponder from a SES Astra satellite at 19.2°E which was not primarily intended for UK reception, the channel used to be notorious for being marred with 'sparklies' in large parts of the UK.
		Another channel, UK Living, was renamed LivingTV when it broke away from the joint BBC-Flextech ownership (now purely Flextech).

		The UK Treasury's intention of selling 415 tonnes of its gold reserves over what it calls the "medium term," thereby reducing its holdings to 300 tonnes (from 715 tonnes) has had an immediately damaging effect on the gold price, which fell by nearly $7.50 to $281.50 an ounce in early trading in London.
		The sale of 125 tonnes by the UK over two years needs to be seen in perspective, particularly in the context of there being no major official sector gold sales in 1998 or in the first half of this year.

	Maude calls for probe into UK gold sale
		FRANCIS MAUDE, shadow chancellor, is calling on Sir John Bourn, Comptroller and Auditor General, to mount a National Audit Office investigation into the Treasury's handling of UK gold sales.
		The $26 price plunge to a 20-year low has wiped about £450m off the value of the UK's reserves, and the fall has continued, with the price closing at $256.45 on Friday compared with almost $290 ahead of the announcement.
		The next UK gold auction is due on September 21, three days ahead of an IMF meeting in Washington to consider the sale of 10m ounces.
