	UMAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
		Heise was 4-1 at the Midwest Region Invitational this past weekend, three of her wins coming against 7th ranked Washington (Mo.) University.
		Heise led the Saints through a 6-2 mark in Texas over spring break with a 5-1 record and a save while on the mound and a.467 batting average at the plate.
		After leading the Saints to a 4th place finish at the NAIA Regional Meet, and a berth in the NAIA National Championship race, Saints senior Jen Houck was named the Runner of the Week in the UMAC.

	ICOM Publications
		The Spring 2002 issue of the journal Museologia, published by the Museu de Ciência of the University of Lisbon, is entirely devoted to the proceedings of the first UMAC conference, which was held in Barcelona in 2001.
		The papers given at this meeting attempt to illustrate how diverse university museums are and what a wide range of disciplines they encompass, and to describe the difficulties they sometimes face.
		Many university museums are not as well-known as they should be, and one of UMAC's aims is to raise their profile with governing bodies and the general public.

	UMAC About - History
		The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) began in 1972 as the Twin Rivers Conference and was renamed to its current title in the early 1980's.
		Twelve schools have been a part of the UMAC conference over the past 30 years and the conference currently has 8 full members and 6 associate members in football.
		Currently, the UMAC is in the process of becoming a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III conference and is in the transition period.
