		Unkle has sampled lots more vinyl for this album, however the main surprises are the fantastic musicians that he has recorded.
		Unkle wishes that he could play double bass, clarinet, harp, guzheng, trumpet, flute and electric guitar, instead some formidable musos have done that for him.

		UNKLE as a working 'group' has always been a loosely defined concept, one which in practice consists of a rotating cast of collaborators brought together by Mo' Wax Records founder, James Lavelle.
		He is a man of unorthodox impulses, as one might gather about a man who first sets up a record label, and only years later decides to create music for the label himself.

		Title song 'Bhoot Unkle' marks the introduction of the film's central character who is adored by all the kids and is looked upon by them.
		And no, none of the kids are scared of him while they sing a peppy track as if they were playing along in a garden with kids of their age.
		There is nothing much in the album to make one relax at home and listen to the music but still has a decent compilation of some peppy sounding numbers that won't bore in the film.

		The definition that Shadow brought to UNKLE seems to have gone too, with some of the tracks not really knowing what direction they are taking.
		Never Never Land hangs together nicely as an album but UNKLE lost the edgy sound of 'Psyence Fiction' when Josh Davis left; the overwhelming feeling you are left with here is one of pleasant warmth (albeit with the uneasiness of 'Panic Attack')- UNKLE used to be about more than that.

		A lot has changed in the four years since UNKLE released the seminal "Psyence Fiction" album, treated as more of a Mo Wax version of "This Mortal Coil" than a cohesive album, "Psyence Fiction" was panned by music critics but met with commercial success selling over 400K copies worldwide.
		As one might imagine the result is by far the best recording of its kind for 2002 and possibly for quite a few to come.
		Included on the DVD is the McLaren Award winning anti-war short for "Eye for an Eye" and "The Hope Street Sessions", a documentary about the 8-panel album cover painting by Futura 2000.
