The international student teaching experience is an option within the student teaching semester and will apply to the student's degree at UNLV in the same manner that student teaching in a school in the United States does.
In some cases, UNLV faculty will be on site as exchange faculty.
The UNLV Office of International Programs provides information on scholarship resources to help cover the costs of study abroad and resources which may help with the international student teaching program.

Jonathan Hugo, Patrick Adams, Joe Bartoch, and Brandon Nelms teamed up to give UNLV the 200 medley relay title for the fifth time in the six-year history of the meet (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005).
On the women's side, UNLV took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.49, just.48 behind first place Wyoming.
UNLV won the 200 medley relay in a MWC record time at the conference championships on Wednesday.

UNLV coach Charlie Spoonhour, who just finished his first season, said he could not comment on the transfer because NCAA rules would not permit public comments on recruitable athletes until they have officially enrolled in class.

UNLV is auctioning a patented invention that teaches a method for measuring the anti-migratory and cytotoxic effects of anticancer drugs on cancer tissues measuring the chemosensitivity of human biopsies to therapeutic drugs.
The invention was discovered by three researchers at UNLV — William Rust, Janice Huff and George Plopper.

Johnson, who had 19 carries for 70 yards as UNLV's third-string tailback last season behind then-seniors Jeremi Rudolph and Kevin Brown, is considered the likely heir to the starting tailback job next fall.
So Johnson decided to transfer to UNLV and play for the head coach who helped put the tailback in Tailback U. "Coming to UNLV was a good opportunity for me," Johnson said.
