	RMC Hockey Game Reports
		UQTR stretched their lead to 4-1 on the power play at 4:48 and then closed out the scoring at 17:55.
		In the last two periods RMC out shot UQTR 23-18 and took the play to the home team but they could not sustain a constant attack with the parade of players from both teams to the penalty box which took a lot of the flow out of the game.
		UQTR was unsure of what was going on in the rink with the huge fan base for the Paladins going wild.

	Lecturers at UQTR Resume Strike
		On October 23, the UQTR Administrative Council adopted the second version of its proposed development contract ("contrat de développement"), La réussite scolaire et professionnelle des étudiants (Student Academic and Professional Achievement).
		In this official document UQTR acknowledges for the first time that, in the years to come, 47% of courses will be taught by Lecturers.
		UQTR then tried to force the Union's hand by threatening to cancel most of Summer Session if the offer on the table were not accepted by March 31.

		UQTR has won two of their meeting this year, and tying a third.
		UQTR secured their berth into the semi-finals with a 2-1 win over the Gee-Gees on Friday night.
		UQTR’s Jean Philippe Paré scored midway through the third period as the Patriots won their fourth straight OUA Queen’s Cup Championship with a 5-4 win over Western at Thompson Arena on Sunday morning.

	RMC Hockey Game Reports
		RMC could not score on the 2 man advantage and shortly after UQTR was awarded a 1:30 minute 5 on 3 where they scored the game winning goal.
		In the third UQTR continued to dominate the game on the score sheet scoring their only even strength goal 11 seconds into the period and then added 2 more power play goals.
		UQTR was 6 for 9 on the power play while RMC went 1 for 9.

	Pats slip past Dinos
		UQTR's Marc Sigouin snapped home, what proved to be the winner, mid-way through the third period as the second seeded Patriotes held off the wildcard Calgary Dinos 3-2.
		Before the period was out though, the Pats regained their one-goal advantage when Hubert found the back of the net for his first goal and second point of the period.
		UQTR was forced to kill off a Francois Drainville five minute major penalty early in the third.

		UQTR struck first in front of the 2,285 fans Sunday afternoon when tournament leading scorer and eventual University Cup MVP Alexander Tremblay went top shelf on David Haun of X at 12:11 of the first, burying a great feed that was passed out front from David St. Onge.
		Jean-Nicolas Bordeleau of UQTR would tie the game two minutes into the third as he let a long shot go from the point which fooled the hot X-Men goaltender.
		At 10:40 of the third UQTR defenceman David St.-Onge scored his first of two consecutive goals that would register within a 1:35 span shifting the momentum and score back in the Patriotes favour as they now lead the see-saw contest 4-3.

	Sacre Bleu! Judge Rules Against Chiropractic
		On Aug. 16, 2001, the Montreal Gazette reported that the OPQ had sent notices to laboratories in the province that tests ordered by chiropractors were no longer authorized.
		It then requested that UQTR exclude biomedical analysis from its chiropractic curriculum.
		Outraged by the request, the ACQ and ASC-UQTR filed suit against the OPQ and obtained a Superior Court injunction mandating the Office reverse its notification.

		Coach Laporte also said that UQTR doesn't take either Lakehead or UNB lightly. "We have a great respect for both teams in our pool. We've never played at the Nationals against UNB or Lakehead but in pre-season games in October 2002, we lost 7-4 against the Reds and lost 4-0 and 4-2 against the Thunderwolves.
		Les Patriotes are a big, fast, skilled team led by OUA East MVP and All-Star Alexandre Tremblay who led the CIS in scoring with an incredible 59 points. UQTR's potent offense also features fellow All-Stars Jean-Philippe Glaude and dangerous sniper Jean-Philippe Pare. First year goaltender Dany Dallaire is also tough to beat.
		Lakehead and UQTR have met four times. Lakehead is 3-1 against UQTR, outscoring them 12-7. UQTR was the first CIS hockey team that Lakehead played against.

	Conciliator adjourns talks in UQTR lecturer’s strike
		Since they have no mandate, the spokespersons for UQTR are constantly running off to consult their employers.
		After a month of strike, during which the UQTR senior managers continually complained about the absence of the lecturers in the classroom, the true decision-makers for the employers have still not condescended to attend the bargaining table.
		Although the union party is composed of five people, including the Union President, there are only two people at the table representing the UQTR, the Director of Labour Relations, Éric Hamelin (the 7th to hold this title at UQTR over the past 12 years) and a management employee assigned to Labour Relations, Marc-André Gilbert.

	No More Probation for UQTR's Chiropractic Program
		The Commission on Accreditation (COA) of the Council on Chiropractic Education of Canada (CCEC) recently announced that the probationary sanction against the Université du Québec à Trois Rivières (UQTR) doctor of chiropractic program has been lifted.
		According to the Standards, the COA could have revoked accreditation status entirely if UQTR failed to correct deficiencies or otherwise failed to comply with the requirement standards.
		The UQTR chiropractic program will be reviewed again in the fall of 2005, as regularly scheduled.
