		The next event for URC is the Awards Banquet set for Saturday night, December 8 at the Lancaster Host in Lancaster, PA. Tickets are available by contacting Donna Miller at 215-860-5631.
		The 60th Anniversary URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series Awards Banquet is set for Saturday night, December 8 at the Lancaster Host in Lancaster, PA. The highlight of the night will be the crowning of the URC Champion Driver Curt Michael and Champion Owner Kathy Palladino.
		URC will be part of the Saturday portion of the Championship Weekend with sprint car warm-ups scheduled to begin by 3 PM with heat race events scheduled for approximately 4 PM.

	NASA University Research Centers (URC)
		The URC’s are multidisciplinary research units established at minority institution to focus on a specific area of NASA interest.
		Their goals are to conduct an annual national conference of the URC’s, to create pathways for developing greater collaborations between the URC’s, and to explore avenues for increasing the numbers of advanced degrees being awarded to underrepresented minority students.

	Trace URC Simulation Environment

		Results of URC’s Medical Injection Safety Project in Namibia were presented at WHO’s annual meeting of the Safe Injection Global Network (SIGN) which took place this year in Mexico City, Mexico.
		She also presented data on the project’s impact on reducing unnecessary injections from an average of 7.4 dosages per patient per treatment in the 4th quarter of 2004 to 1.9 dosages in the 2nd quarter of 2006.

	Growth Groups - University Reformed Church
		In everything we do here at URC, we want to work towards the following vision: URC is a Bible teaching and praying church, ministering to our neighbors, the campus, the nations, and the unreached people of the world.
		In general, growth groups will meet at least bi-weekly, have some component of Bible study and prayer, and will be continually open to new people to the point that the group would eventually divide into two groups.

	2005 URC
		Early announcements about the next URC will be made toward the end of the 2005-2006 academic year, with the expectation of holding the next URC in September 2006.
		For the inaugural URC, students were nominated by each School or Department in the Faculty of Science, plus the four medical departments which offer undergraduate degrees, i.e., Anatomy and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, and Physiology.
