  University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) - Procedures for CSU students
Read the USAC catalog or website carefully, especially the section about the specific country/program in which you are interested, and general sections named “Financial Aid” and “Important Information.” The USAC application form is found at the back of the USAC catalog and is also on line.
List the USAC courses under “Courses at Host Campus”, and list the courses from the catalog of the university you are now attending under “Equivalent Courses at Home Campus”.
Your application is forwarded to USAC as soon as it is received.

Neal calls opponents of USAC "conservative and less-informed," and even though I think that this is an incredibly offensive assumption (for I consider myself both quite liberal and very well informed, yet still in opposition to USAC) because it indicates a great amount of intolerance.
USAC certainly does a good job at ensuring fair representation to a variety of students who may not have had the opportunity in the past, but it must also remember that it must represent all students at UCLA, even if they are conservative and less-informed.
USAC, and Neal in particular, assume that anyone who does not side with the concerns of USAC is sacrificing the quality of their education and in doing so, they become somehow inferior to those who do otherwise.

The United States Auto Club (USAC) was founded in 1955 as a not-for-profit auto race sanctioning organization with the purposes of developing rules and specifications for the sport, providing qualified officials for the conduct of its events and in general, instituting an organized framework for the race participants and race organizers.
USAC is a member organization for the Automobile Competition Committee of the United States (ACCUS-FIA), which provides a direct link with the International motor sports governing body, and FIA.

As the "Stop Prop 209" stickers on their doors can attest, USAC is more interested in letting in underqualified students via affirmative action and letting go of other qualified students than in taking some positive action.
If USAC was comprised of some type of Greek slate running the school in the same fashion as Students First!, it would be knee-deep in discrimination allegations.
If USAC truly wished to work for its constituency, the council would have been better off protesting the endless construction at our school.

The USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series and the USAC National Midget Car Series are slated for competition on the 1-mile paved oval, with a 25-mile Midget Car feature and a 100-mile Silver Crown main event.
Pat Flaherty, shortly after his 1956 Indianapolis 500 victory, captured USAC's inaugural Milwaukee race, a 100-mile Championship-Car event, while Stan Fox and Mike Bliss shared the victory podium in a 1993 USAC "doubleheader." Fox won the 25-mile Midget contest and Bliss took the Silver Crown 100-miler.
USAC has a rich tradition of racing at the Milwaukee Mile, with past race winners including no less than 16 Indianapolis 500 champions, plus NASCAR Champions Rusty Wallace and Bobby Allison, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Champion Bliss and Mel Kenyon, the winningest National Midget Car driver of all time.
