	Unabhängige Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (USPD) (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31)
		Anfang 1918 organisierten der USPD nahestehende Revolutionäre Obleute den sogenannten Januarstreik für ein baldiges Kriegsende und eine bessere Lebensmittelversorgung, der von der Parteiführung unterstützt wurde.
		Gleichzeitig mit dem Bruch zwischen USPD und SPD vollzog sich mit der Gründung der Kommunistischen Partei Deutschlands (KPD) zur Jahreswende 1918/19 die Abspaltung des linksradikalen Spartakusbunds unter Führung von Rosa Luxemburg und Karl Liebknecht, die eine Rätediktatur nach sowjetrussischem Vorbild anstrebten.
		Jedoch sorgte der Konflikt über den Beitritt zur Kommunistischen Internationale (Komintern) für erhebliche Spannungen innerhalb der Partei.
