The first USS SEAWOLF (SS 197) was laid down on September 27, 1938 at the Portsmouth (NH) navy Yard and launched on August 15, 1939; sponsored by Mrs.
Tragically, she was mistaken for a Japanese submarine while in transit and was sunk by the USS ROWELL on October 3, 1944.
The second USS SEAWOLF (SSN 575) was laid down on September 15, 1953 by Electric Boat, Groton, Connecticut; launched on July 21, 1955; sponsored by Mrs.

Our goal is to further USS Utah's Internet presence, to add additional eyewitness reports, promote camaraderie among the remaining survivors, and to honor all who served on this grand old ship.
USS UTAH (AG16) rests on the west side of Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and is not mentioned in tourist brochures.
The USS Utah Memorial is one of two National Memorials at Pearl, the other being USS Arizona.

The USS Fremont was delivered from the Department of the Navy to the Maritime Administration for custody and ported in the James River at 10:45 EDST 10 October 1969.

 USS Truxtun (CGN 35)
USS TRUXTUN was the first and only ship in the TRUXTUN class and the fourth nuclear powered surface vessel commissioned by the Navy.
In 1969 USS TRUXTUN was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation for superior performance while operating with the U.S. Seventh Fleet and in 1971 she received the Meritorious Unit Commendation for operations conducted in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Aboard the USS Stark, a Perry-class frigate on duty in the gulf, radar operators picked up the Mirage when it was some 200 miles away; it was flying at 5,000 feet and traveling at 550 mph.
On May 17, 1987, at approximately 9 pm, the USS Stark was attacked by an Iraqi F-1 Mirage fighter jet at an operating are known as RPS-South, just 50 miles from the Persian Gulf state of Bahrain, where the USS Coontz was moored.
That same night, USS Conyngham and USS Waddell steamed through intense fog to aid the crew of USS Stark in fighting the flooding and several fires which had broken out on the guided-missile frigate.

 The History of USS REDFISH
USS REDFISH, SS-395, was built by the Portsmouth Navy Yard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Rumours circulated to the effect that REDFISH and her divers were preparing to salvage the crytography gear from the USS Pueblo, which had been captured by the North Koreans on 23 January, 1968.
USS REDFISH was decomissioned in San Diego on 27 June 1968 and her name was struck from the Navy List 30 June 1968.
