The ESSEX departed San Diego on her maiden deployment on October 25, 1994 during which, was a major participant in the withdrawal of the Multinational force from Somalia in Operation United Shield.
ESSEX spent the next 14 years at Annapolis and then was lent to the Naval Militia of Ohio and eventually was assigned to the Naval Reserve of the State of Minnesota before being stricken from the record in 1930.

The first USS Weehawken was a single-turreted monitor warship type in the United States Navy during the American Civil War.
Accompanied by USS Iroquois and towed by USS Boardman, she departed New York, New York on 18 January 1863, bound for Port Royal, South Carolina, and duty with the South Atlantic Blockading Squadron.
Weehawken, Montauk, Nahant, USS Passaic, and USS Patapsco now took aim at Fort Sumter, pounding it to rubble during two separate bombardments on 23 August and 1 and 2 September 1863.

The Ahwahnee here could easily be a Soyuz, or a Miranda Class for instance...
- If you were wondering why there is a 'Constitution 2'; with there being no known ships with this name that precede 'Constitution Class', it's a conjectural thing, for I have named a ship 'USS Constitution' as being initially of the Federation Class -one of Starfleet's first Heavy Cruisers, from 2161 (see 'Conjectural Classes').
Only numbers like this will appear if the ship is named in a listing, anywhere throughout the fleet guides.
