Last month, the submarine USS Nebraska left Kings Bay for Bangor, joining the USS Kentucky and USS Pennsylvania that relocated from the Georgia coast in 2002.
Besides being promised the USS Florida next year, Kingston is helping Camden County lobby to bring a second submarine, the USS Georgia, to Kings Bay after work is finished refitting the sub for conventional arms.
