		The USS Voyager is a fictional starship in the science fiction television series Star Trek: Voyager, the Intrepid class starship (NCC-74656) is a 24th century Starfleet vessel under the command of Captain Kathryn Janeway.
		Voyager is launched in 2371 with a crew of 141 on a mission to track down a Maquis ship in "the Badlands." An alien force transports both Voyager and the Maquis vessel 70,000 light-years to the Delta Quadrant, damaging Voyager and killing several crewmembers.
		Voyager was the first ship to be equipped with a class-9 warp drive, which they were intended to test in deep space, allowing for a maximum attainable speed of Warp 9.975 for 36 hours.
