		Meant to resolve the ambiguous nature of the terms "North American," which could be taken to refer to Canada or the United States, and "American," which could be taken to refer to North America, South America, or the United States.
		Usually used by those who want to insult the USA or American citizens while loudly proclaiming they are simply trying to differentiate between citizens of the USA and citizens of other nations in the North and South American continents.
		You are just like every other USian, arrogant and egotistical, not like other Americans.

		The people that use this term (primarily Europeans and Canadians) claim it is the proper term to refer to someone who lives in the United States because the term "American" applies to all of the peoples that live on North and South America and is thus too broad.
		While the term American might be misleading to a handful of cave-dwellers, I think history and usage has deemed this the proper label for those of us from the United States.
		Also, I think that the geeky slashdot/kuro5hin proponents of USian probably do not actively TALK to others regarding this topic, otherwise they would realize how unwieldly the term USian is in normal speech.
