Ubbi Dubbi (also called Pig Greek or Double Dutch) is a language game spoken with English.
Ubbi Dubbi is a type of Gibberish, in that it functions by adding a certain infix before the rime of each syllable.
Ubbi Dubbi is spoken in the United States, and works by adding -ub- (IPA: [əb]) before the vowel(s) in each syllable.

Charles P. Pierce's article about MIT president Susan Hockfield ("Science Friction," May 1) was interesting, especially his comments on "the Postol controversy." I was impressed with professor Ted Postol's performance in the Patriot missile affair after his criticisms of the project were shown to be entirely correct.
The Ubbi Dubbi mentioned in "Dispatch" is the same version that my sisters, cousins, and I spoke.

In Ubbi Dubbi (rhymes with "hubby"), you insert the VC sequence "ub" (pronounced to rhyme with "hub") in front of every vowel.
In an imitation of the conventions of English orthography, the Ubbi Dubbi rendition of "speaking" might be given as "spubby cubbing".
This treatment is the natural interpretation of of the Ubbi Dubbi rule ("put ub in front of every vowel") because the digraph (two-letter combination) "ea" in the spelling of the word "speaking" actually represents only one vowel.

'Ubbie talk' came from Zoom, and I was one of many kids on my block who could sing the ZOOM song at the drop of a hat.

Carrie Cate supplies a code language (of unknown name) that her sister used to speak, involving spelling out words but adding "-ong" to each consonant.
The syllable for most consonants consists of doubling the consonant and putting an "uh" sound in the middle (bub, dud, etc), but there are special syllables for certain consonants: cash, hash, wash, and yak, among others.
