		Walked around the station a bit, some nice old Japanese lady gave us gum but I accidentally dropped mine on the floor while I was putting it in my mouth (I think she saw me do it but pretended not to notice), then took the 3-hour long JR express train from Shinonoi to Nagoya.
		The only shink in the area is the Asama line (built especially for the Olympics) that connects Nagano and Ueda to Tokyo, which is in the opposite direction.
