The project was able to use the drill hearts that were taken during the years 1963 to 1964 and 1967 from the Länttä lithium deposit of Ullava, and were investigated by the Geological Survey of Finland (GSF).
The spodumene mineral resources of the Länttä area of Ullava are quite sizeable, and additional investigation of the actual deposit will not be necessary before starting the mining in small scale.
The lithium deposit of the Länttä area of Ullava was test quarried at the end of June 2000.
