Very much in the tradition of the hearty breakfast, the Ulster Fry is peculiar to the North of Ireland, parts of which are in Northern Ireland and parts of which are in the Free State.
I suppose you could eat the Fry with two of three but it the experience would be that much less.
A variation on this I like is to fry either the wheaten loaf or the soda bread in the bacon/sauage fat.
