Unaussprechlichen is a new horror font we're releasing for this Halloween.
Unaussprechlichen features a complete set of upper and lower case characters and the longest and most unpronouncable name of any font we've produced.
The name originates in one of the mythical arcane books of H. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos from a story by Robert E. Howard, the Unaussprechlichen Kulten of Friedrich von Juntz.

::.. Metal Monk UK ..:: - Review: NILE - Annihilation of the Wicked
When it hits the mark, like on the title track itself, or indeed the album closer "Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten", then it really does hit the spot - with a ten-ton hammer.
Prooving quite rightly that speed isn't everything, the truly exceptional moments of this album only ever shine when Nile slow it down a notch or two - prooving with three slow burning, grinding, and crushingly heavy epics ("User-Maat-Re", "Annihilation of the Wicked" and "Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten") that they truly ARE the masters of their trade.

FAQ gave a long title of the book in English, and then argued that "Unaussprechlichen Kulten" was an abbreviation of this longer title.

Fans of the longer, larger songs will find some satisfaction here as well, with tracks like "User-Maat-Re," "Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten" (which is probably my favorite song on here) and the title track, all of which are around the eight-minute mark and are epic in length and composition.
Of course this is one aspect of the band I have always been familiar with, but it is still impressive.
In the end, some fans may complain that there is less use of keyboards and atmosphere, though there are touches of those elements like in the last song, "Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten" and the two atmospheric tracks (both of which are brilliant by the way).

Sanders who displays his painstaking research in the subject matter for each song (even using actual wav files of various Crocodile calls and roars for “Spawn of Uamenti”), but it’s rather ineffectual considering the three way vocal attack of Sanders, Jon Vesano, and Dallas Tyler Wode is a virtual grunt fest.
Wode is now fully involved on the song writing, possibly explaining the slightly less gregarious ethnic elements that are now more intertwined in the longs rather than needless filler (“Chapter of Obeisance Before Giving Breath to the Inert One in the Prese” and the Lovecraftian lore inspired "Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten" or "Of Nameless Cults").
Ultimately Annihilation of the Wicked is a damned good album, and will no doubt garner much well deserved year end credit, as skill wise and song writing wise, Nile appear to be the US’s cream of the crop.
