Zombieguide's Complete Cranberries Discography: Early Material
Note that this recording of the song "Nothing Left At All" is the same one that appears on "Uncertain." Xeric made 300 copies of this tape, all of which sold out in local record shops within days.
"Uncertain" was originally intended as a single for an ill-fated album on Xeric Records.
Approximately 5,000 total copies of "Uncertain" were printed among the CD and 12" formats.

Bayesian probability - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bayesian probability is supposed to measure the degree of belief an individual has in an uncertain proposition, and is in that respect subjective.
Jose Bernardo and others accept some degree of subjectivity but believe a need exists for "reference priors" in many practical situations.
Such probabilities are not relative to the person but to the epistemic situation, and thus lie somewhere between subjective and objective.

 Henry Hsieh - Main-Belt Comets
EP's unusual orbit in the main asteroid belt was recognized immediately, and due to the unexpectedness of cometary activity on main-belt asteroids, the cause of EP's activity was uncertain, with some believing EP's activity to be the result of dust kicked up by a series of impacts.
After no reports of recurring activity between 1997 and 2001, impact-driven hypotheses were eliminated by the return of activity in 2002, discovered by me and David Jewitt on August 19, 2002, using the University of Hawaii 2.2-meter telescope on Mauna Kea.
Still barely active on December 28, 2002, EP was inactive by September 22, 2003 when observed by the Keck 10-meter telescope, and has thus far remained inactive up until the present-day.

I never even knew of the existence of an "Uncertain" demo -- keep in mind all of these tracks are very different from the album versions.
An interesting thing to note is that the Uncertain demo, which already has some static in it, ends with a woman's voice saying, "Uncertain by The Cranberries..." before it cuts out, suggesting it was taken from a radio broadcast.
Despite the notation on Fergal's paper, these are all the EP versions from "Uncertain," so nothing too terribly special.

 Six Degrees Records - tweaker
From the serpentine, shadowy slither of the opening track, "Linoleum," through complex soundscapes that float slowly into a kind of light, not the light of day, but the filtered glint that leaks through yellowed windows.
In moments grabbed between freelance projects, or in long late-night stretches with only Elliott as his witness, Vrenna assembled a compelling sequence of pieces, bristling with electronic effects, swampy slide guitar, and stadium-sized slammin' beats that alternate with moments of intimate introspection.
The 50-minute EP of "Linoleum," the first single from tweaker, features remixes of the David Sylvian track from Josh Wink, Wamdue Project, King Britt, Teargas and Plate Glass and Paul Leary of the Butthole Surfers, along with rare non-LP tracks.

I use ePrompter to read the mail because eP is much faster than the Yahoo web mail interface and so with eP I can make the best use of the limited time I'm able to sit up at my computer.
No double EP instances or anything so unsure what the heck causes it - but it has happened.
If you've seen this after a recent re-install from a file downloaded at CNET, then it might be that the eP team uploaded the beta installation file in error (instead of the FR one).

"Uncertain" isn't quite what "As Above" is, but it's still good thrash in the Bay Area tradition.
"The Shore" EP sounds like it could have been recorded during the "As Above" sesssions as the tunes are all in the same technical thrash mode.

ePrompter Users' Forum -> eP marks all "read" messages as "unread"
I don't recall re-installing eP since back when I did that complicated procedure to try to recover the inbox that eP had deleted on me. I've been using the same version for quite some time now, without paying any attention to the version #.
Interesting, Will, that you and I would have the same problem with the eP/Yahoo interface -- that the eP window for a Yahoo account often shows all messages as unread when they are not.
What's interesting is that you and I are almost neighbors, as I live in the Everett area.

This four-song EP is a taste of their debut full-length, "Apologies To The Queen Mary", slated for an October 2005 release.
This EP displays what they can (and can't) do -- they excel at the messy fuzzpop, but the synthy dance sound should be avoided.
Also, even for a CD like this, an EP can be made only because those listening to underground music may not stand their music, so they are introducing their music and seeing what you think.

Rockbites: Tweaker readies new EP, concept album
Programmer, producer, and one time Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna aka Tweaker is set to release a new EP and a new album next month on Six Degrees Records.
Back in 1999, Vrenna was inspired by a simple, poignant, and fascinating painting by Joe Sorren titled Elliot’s Attraction To All Things Uncertain—a detail of which serves as the album cover artwork.
The forthcoming EP features six remixes of the album track Linoleum, including one by Paul Leary of The Butthole Surfers.
