The most popular post-Barks version of Scrooge comics is that of Don Rosa, an American who works mainly for Egmont Publishing Service, a Copenhagen-based company that publishes the comic book adventures of Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and other Disney stars throughout Northern and Eastern Europe and in parts of Asia.

The classic playfulness of the otherwise dour Scrooge, together with all the other expected elements of the money bin theme, combine to produce an oil which is exemplary of everything that one could hope to find in a money bin painting.

I'm holding onto my Scrooge comics..I love the duck..lol However, it never mentioned the others being rare books..It only said that 310 was.

I did do a few SCROOGE stories that were only printed overseas.
The Gold Key format was sold on newsstands and then they also printed some copies of the same issues with a Whitman insignia, for sale in retail outlets like K-Mart.
