Underdark has had many revisions over the years, and Im never happy with any of them.
The original idea behind Underdark was to create a roguelike set in the Forgotten Realms Underdark, with all the nasties that the FR-U setting implies.

Other goodies that you’ll receive for your endless battle in Underdark are new spells (40), feats (50+), crafting abilities (wands, bottles etc.), the ability to summon your own golem, and even the chance to upgrade your weapons.
I’m pleased to say that Underdark doesn’t disappoint and there are times when some of the things in the story surprised me. It also seems that Underdark plays a bit quicker than Undrentide.
Underdark is a more fluid story with more of what I cravedÂ…action.

Underdark is the newest tome detailing another corner of the Forgotten Realms.
Underdark details the world beneath Faerun, the cavernous and deadly realm inhabited by extremly dangerous beings from many different worlds.
Though specific to the Forgoten Realms setting, the intricacy and depth of the regions of the Underdark are very self contained areas.

After you defeat the assassin, you can descend to the ground floor of the tavern, where you'll be reunited with some of the hireling characters from the original Neverwinter Nights, such as Daelan Red-Tiger, the half-orc barbarian, and Linu Lanaeral, the elf cleric.
