		When, in the summer of 1998, it was decided that Underdog would have to leave its residence and be facilitated by someone other than those who had been doing it for years, or simply perish, Jensea took Underdog under her wing and gave it a new home.
		Underdog Zine would be a very different read without their efforts.
		Underdog social events are Jeanette & Nikki's fort, and they have sold as many records at shows and answered as much mail as any U-dogger ever has.

	Audio Adrenaline's Underdog
		The album starts off with skin deep lyrics, "A mighty good leader is on the way / He's the only one gonna come save the day / It's all right, yeah, uh-huh, it's OK / 'Cause a mighty good leader is on the way." Skip to track 2.
		'Underdog' has to be one of the best songs on the album.
		Underdog is a fun rock 'n roll album, but if you're looking for something deep and ground breaking you've come to the wrong place.

		Smoking Popes 2 was released and featured the bands best recorded songs to date, but without an album they knew their dreams would never be realized.
		Underdog would only release the album with a cardboard sleeve in a sealed plastic baggy, whereas the Popes wanted their first album in a jewel case like everybody else was using.
		The record accomplished for them some of what they'd hoped it would, a three week tour with the Bollweevils and some billing at the Metro.

		I was moving beyond simple sloganeering and into a place where I wanted to make an actual change on the local level, and for me, V.Reverse emobdied that greater than any other band.
		Included in the songs above is a demo the band recorded in March of 2004 of a song that is going to be on the album.

		For the record, I'd like to say that this could possibly be the most accurate band bio that I have received.
		And although "The Routine" has some rather blantant big-time hooks (especially on the opener "Not Today," and track eleven, "How it Goes"), the music is heavy enough to kill any serious notions of this band being radio friendly - and trust me, that works to their advantage.
		With the monstrous major label production, and a captivating sound throughout, "The Routine" is so far, one of the biggest underdog records I've heard all year.

		At a show at the short lived Crawlspace, the Underdog Records distro was there and I was able to pick up the Bowler/Who You Really Are album.
		About half the record was recorded with Chuck Uchida at his studio Attica (a common stomping ground for Chicago musicians back then) and the other half was done by the band at their own space.
		It speaks volumes of the band, the songs and their performance of them that it’s next to impossible to tell which were done where.

		A decade later and time’s not been kind, with two of the band killed in a road accident and the vocalist giving up music after a 1996 solo album.
		She moved to Chicago and took up a job with Bloodshot records, which now means that they have a vacancy in their promotion department, for her love of singing has returned.
		I could listen to her sing for days on end, but at lest she’s back and, hopefully, for good, for here’s an underdog that’s bound to be a favourite.

	Mutant Renegade Zine - Music Reviews #7
		This is a ten song disc that has a ministry feel to it, but not as top-40 accessible (actually H. Beno from 13 mg was a programmer for ministry for a while).
		This is great 24 songs from 24 bands, I feel like I'm at Dave Draino's house and he's playing his latest purchases for me. The cover and all the graphics are 50's horror film photos with new words pertaining to the major labels attack on the indie scene.
		As for the music, it's more of the same 15 music we've all come to know and love, except that they vocals seem to be a little bit smoother at times.
