		While this claim is hotly debated, the ezine craze certainly began in the BBS days of the 1980s.
		Ezines are typically tightly focused on a subject area.
		Ezines in concept are reworkings of the popular magazine format of seasonal, monthly, or weekly topical publications, in an electronic format.

	Wired News: Ezine Publishers Get Pushy
		More than 40 "premier" ezine publishers have been invited to participate in a new push product, scheduled to launch later this week, called Headliner Underground.
		The headlines are generated by the ezine publishers themselves, who set up a page on their sites that lists headlines, teaser copy, updates, and announcements they want fed through the ticker.
		To spread the word, Warstler is asking participating ezine publishers to include a small graphic link to the Headliner site, run by the program's owner, Lanacom.
