UniWakka is a simple and easy to use and install wiki engine which is mostly intended for a scientific environment.
It has some cool features such as export as LaTeX or Open Office, MathML support for typing mathematical formulas, easy management of bibliographies and many other cool features.

The markup has a lot of things in common with UseMod Wiki and PHPWiki so it is not going to be so difficult to manage.
I have posted my documentation in a wiki and hope to gather as many materials as I can on the topic for presentation later.
The wiki application I am using is UniWakka which lends itself to an academic-type research documentation.

Well, after my latest update a month ago, here are some new insights on using a wiki as tool for keeping notes, writing short reports and lots of other ideas.
The main reason is that a wiki is, after all, not really suitable to write reports in.
I found a wiki called UniWakka which is able to export to LaTeX.

I am enormously grateful to Andrea Rossato, the author of UniWakka, who recently has responded to any number of feature requests from me, and endless questions, by putting in every feature I've requested and more besides.
The result is a system quite unique from other wikis in that you can even upload a file containing molecule coordinates (a.pdb or.mol file, for instance), and have the molecule displayed interactively inside the web page.

I think it would be a great feature if Drupal got the same math support as UniWakka:
I'm thinking of doing a collaborative, scientific project and in this case the book style of Drupal is superior to the that of an (un)organized wiki.

Just a quick fix that changes the WakkaWiki cookie name.
Should work for most forks of WakkaWiki (I've verified UniWakka.)
There should be two or three instances of this.

As promised since the project's conception, here is another periodic update on what's new at OpenRPN.
After a great deal of research and hard labor, we have established a documentation site, located here, using the UniWakka wiki engine.
In the near future we should have a working roadmap complete with development milestones.

When the next version of WakkaWiki comes out if they have not made similar changes I will have to reintegrate my changes with the new version, but the original developers are working on other projects.
This would involve redoing a lot of the changes below, if they are not solved in UniWakka
Remove the "&" from the link matching grep pattern, to allow for links that contain an ampersand.

However, I didn't see any webdav related info in their page (Xavi)
