 Borough of Somerset, PA Somerset County
The stickers are available at the Borough Water Office, located at 340 W. Union St.
If you have leaves after the collection dates are completed, bags with stickers may be dropped of at the Public Works Garage at 644 South Franklin Avenue between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday.
These voluntary restrictions are the first stage during drought conditions and apply to any customer who receives water service from the Borough of Somerset, including Somerset Township and Jefferson Township.

 Union Canal
A Branch canal was finished in 1832 reaching from the Water Works north to Pine Grove to tap the coal fields and supply much needed water for the Summit Level.
The 102 locks of the Canal were built small (8 1/2 x 75') and could not accommodate the larger boats from the Pennsylvania Canal and the Schuylkill Canal.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Union Canal Tunnel Park of the Lebanon County Historical Society, this event will be held Saturday, September 19, 1998 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
