		Dr. Richard Taylor MP was elected for the Wyre Forest constituency in the 2001 election, on a platform opposing the closure of Kidderminster hospital.

		All parties issue a manifesto at general elections and many people look forward to the sitting government doing just this so that it can be compared to its time in office.
		Manifestos have to be succinct to interest the voters at a general election and they have to be carefully written as any outlandish claims will be swiftly latched onto by the opposition.
		The Labour party won a third term in government at the 2005 general election for the first time in its history, although its majority in the House of Commons was reduced to 66.
