  USAC Sprint Car Series - United States Auto Club - U.S.A.C.
The United States Auto Club (USAC) was founded in 1955 as a not-for-profit auto race sanctioning organization with the purposes of developing rules and specifications for the sport, providing qualified officials for the conduct of its events and in general, instituting an organized framework for the race participants and race organizers.
USAC operates five divisions of automobile racing and annually sanctions and conducts some 150 events.
USAC is a member organization for the Automobile Competition Committee of the United States (ACCUS-FIA), which provides a direct link with the International motor sports governing body, and FIA.

USAC's National and Western Sprint Car Series will have title sponsorship from Valvoline in 2004, 2005 and 2006 as the Lexington, KY-based company has extended its USAC involvement to an increased level.
Kirby led all 30 laps at Perris Auto Speedway and afterwards in the winners circle said about the Ripper "He raced me clean all night and if I don't win the championship, I hope he does." Kirby now is in second place in the championship race, less than 100 points behind Ripper.

Temecula resident Don Kazarian, the promoter and managing owner of the Perris Auto Speedway, was recognized by the United States Auto Club in January as USAC’s Promoter of the Year for the Western States region during 2005.
USAC often ran the Pacific Coast Nationals at Ascot which attracted drivers from throughout the nation, although many drivers from the Midwest didn’t bring their own vehicles but borrowed cars from the region.
USAC had a Midwest Tour, which involved sprint cars, and an eventual rift between SCRA and USAC led to intentional scheduling of conflicting races.

VENTURA, Calif. — Damion Gardner powered the Cruz Pedregon-owned No. 71C Advance Auto Parts Midget to an impressive fifth-place finish during this past weekend’s United States Auto Club (USAC) Western States Midget Series event at Ventura Raceway.
He then blistered the Ventura bullring to win the first heat, outrunning Western States Midget regulars Josh Lakatos, Tyler Brown and No. 1 qualifier Robby Flock in the process.
Gardner and the Pedregon-owned Advance Auto Parts Midget will contest a few more races in 2005.
