The ELCA is, however, in full communion with both the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ.
Churches Uniting in Christ (CUIC), known until its rebirth in 2002 as Consultation on Church Union (COCU), is a national movement that seeks to live more intentionally together in Christian unity.
