Marquette University High School (or MUHS) is a private, Roman Catholic high school in the United States, dedicated to the eduation of young men from around the Milwaukee Metropolitan area.
Marquette University High School was founded in 1857 and was named after the 17th century Jesuit explorer and missionary, Father Jacques Marquette, S.J. The school was initially established to educate Catholic immigrants in Catholicism and to promote gainful employment and civic involvement.
The school is known on the national level for its success in debate and forensics, as well as for its excellence in other areas of study.
