Mary Farley Ames Lee, a 1938 Longwood graduate, bequeathed to the University Hull Springs Farm, a 637.73 acre site in Westmoreland County that is situated between two tributaries to the Potomac River and just a short distance from the Chesapeake Bay.
During 2004 and 2005, Longwood University conducted a Feasibility Study to investigate how to best utilize Hull Springs Farm as an education and research center that will be an asset regionally and possibly nationally.
