This was the message presented to KU School of Nursing faculty by Karen Miller, RN, PhD, FAAN, dean, and senior vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
At the 2007 State of the School address to faculty, Miller outlined the successes of 2006, which included celebrations during the Centennial year, the Christine Hartley Centennial Endowed Professorship in Nursing, the 16th Annual Nursing: The Heart of Healthcare Awards Program and outreach by students and faculty into international health care and community service.
