Although part of a wider institution, the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, for the Lincoln launch to be a success, we had to introduce some innovative and far-reaching strategies within the institution and communicate them effectively externally.
The original project was to build a new university for the county of Lincolnshire with its main campus based in Lincoln, and to open it for full-time students by September 1996.
The findings were deliberated by the Executive Board of the University and were used to steer the proposed development of not only the promotional strategy for the University but also the academic strategy that underpinned it.
