The University of Lyon (1808) now consists of three separate campuses: the University Claude-Bernard, or Lyon I (1970); University of Lyon II; and University Jean Moulin, or Lyon III (1973).
Lyon was founded in 43 BC as the Roman colony of Lugdunum and was the major city of ancient Gaul by the 2nd century AD.
The French crown annexed Lyon in 1307, and later in the 14th century it became a center of trade and commerce famous for its silk industry.

This study (i) underlines the statement that a high resistance to lack of oxygen is not universally found in subterranean organisms, but is more related to oxygen availability and/or to the energetic state of each subterranean ecosystem, and (ii) highlight the diversity of adaptive responses to an environmental constraint expressed by hypogean crustaceans.
Viewing the current distribution areas of the two subterranean crustaceans studied, we assume that the cold-hardiness found in the hypogean N. rhenorhodanensis could be correlated with its life history during quaternary glaciations.

Four experiments demonstrate consistently that the availability of instrument concepts in comprehenders' working memory is affected by (1) the temporal contour of the action involving the instrument and (2) the instrument's availability for use in the situation.
In this study, we investigated whether the multidimensional content of a situation model constructed from a descriptive text is sensitive to readers' prior knowledge, task demands and studied phase of the situation model (construction and updating).
This research was concerned with two issues: the extent to which overhearers could both learn from listening to monologues and dialogues, and be induced to ask questions by listening to a large number of questions in a virtual tutoring session.
