The attempt is made to have officers on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week year-round and provide police help in investigations, medical emergencies, fires, traffic accidents, crime reports, assist with lockouts, and the enforcement of laws regulating the use of alcohol, weapons, and controlled substances.
