University of Nottingham Students' Union - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The University of Nottingham Students' Union is the students' union at the University of Nottingham, England.
Prior to 2000, the University of Nottingham Students' Union was known as the University of Nottingham Union, abbreviated to UNU.
The Students' Union is, naturally, subordinate to the law of the land; one of the most relevant pieces of legislation is Part II of the Education Act 1994, which specifically deals with students' unions.

Key Skills Nottingham - Full Report
What the students seem to be much more ambivalent about is the value of key skills as tools that will of help them to cope more effectively with the demands of their courses and as a means of fulfilling their own potential.
For instance, one student suggested that the low attendance at some of the key skills sessions was ‘because there is no examination in key skills, students feel that they can omit them from their schedules when they are deciding on their priorities’.
However, if the potential of student self-auditing is to be developed, its use will need to be integrated with the assessment tasks students are set, the nature of the feedback they are given, the forms of tutorial support they receive and the way in which their progress is monitored.

The reason as to why this is so is that students cannot find solidarity with themselves, with the rest of the British population, or with Kurdish widows whose husbands have been murdered by Saddam.
In a Radio 1 programme broadcast from the University of Nottingham Students’ Union, one student commented on the current situation whereby students across the country find themselves in £12,000 of debt upon graduation.
As to why this was so the answer is simple: the students found solidarity through suffering; workers were able to not only sympathise but, given the Paris Commune of 1871 during which 20,000 to 30,000 Parisian workers were murdered by the French government, they were able to empathise.
