The University of Windsor is a non-denominational, provincially-supported, coeducational, public comprehensive university located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
It is a member of the National Conference of Canadian Universities and Colleges, the University Articulation Board of Ontario, the International Association of Universities, and the Association of the British Commonwealth.
On December 19, 1962, the University of Windsor was incorporated by the Ontario Legislature, accepting Assumption University as a federated institution.

Assumption College (University) has sponsored annually a Christian Culture series of lectures and concerts and has presented the Christian Culture Award to 'an outstanding exponent of Christian ideals.' Recipients have included Arnold Walter (in 1945) and Paul Doyon (1950).

Assumption University of Windsor has a heritage reaching back to 1857 and is the parent of the University of Windsor, administered by the Congregation of St. Basil, the Basilian Fathers.
When the University of Windsor was established in 1963, Assumption University entered into federation with the newly formed University of Windsor and became the Catholic University within the University of Windsor.

The University of Guelph Gryphons won the men's 4x800m championship more than a half second ahead of the University of Victoria Vikings after a back-and-forth battle around the track during the final leg of the relay.
University of Saskatchewan Huskies pole vaulter Kelsie Hendry set a new record in the pole vault clearing 4.15m, 15cm better than the previous mark, set by former Waterloo Warriors vaulter Dana Ellis last year in Sherbrooke.

CJAM will be going off air Friday June 30th at 2am and returning to the public airwaves at 5pm that same day.
