Cost of Community Services - Upper Oxford Township   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-19)
While this study determined that Upper Oxford's expenditures related to residential land uses do not exceed its revenues, based on 2001 data, the margin is slim.
Since the leeway between Upper Oxford's expenditures and revenues is so narrow, the Township could end up in the same situation as these other communities if residential growth, especially with school-age children, continues.
Accordingly, the opportunity is now for Upper Oxford to expand its protection of farmland (and other open spaces), as part of an effort to maintain a strong and positive economic relationship among all the land uses in the Township.
