We are the importers of that classic Russian icon - the Ural sidecar motorcycle.
Often scorned as a relic of the past, Urals are still rolling off the production line in Irbit 60 years after the first bike (the M72, modelled on a BMW R71) was sent west to help defeat the Nazi invasion.
They have changed a little bit since then, but they still retain their rugged simplicity and the ability to haul a sidecar!

The original Urals imported to the US had 650cc motors that worked fine but were over-stressed and over-worked at the speeds found on US roads.

Vibrato on Ural is not capable of deep diving, it has a very small range - it's good for making fast vibrations, and it detunes the guitar almost immediately.

I wouldn't make the Ural my only motorcycle, but it is appealing as a machine that can seriously lengthen the riding season here in Minnesota.

Urals are delivered with some components poorly lubricated, not lubricated at all, or lubricated with inferior lubricants; conditions which are all easily rectified.
Posts to the Ural forum on the nuts inside the airbox coming loose indicate that green loctite on these internal nuts and bolts is a good idea.
Note that due to the large number of posts on drive shaft failures, this is one of those areas that you might consider lubricating more often then is called for in the maintenance schedule.

The Ural is probably the most visible motorcycle in this area.
The official record was 85 degrees F. but I live in the country South of the city where it is always a bit warmer and we had 94 F. And me owning two bikes and neither to ride.
