Uroplatus are generally hearty eaters and will except a variety of insects.
Uroplatus can be fed by either broadcasting insects into the enclosure or by providing a feeding dish with a padded bottom.
The latter is necessary because when Uroplatus eat, they launch themselves at the food item in a jaguar-like leap and can injure their snouts on hard dishes.

The spearpoint leaf-tailed gecko is a dried-leaf mimic.
Uroplatus have a reputation for arriving from Madagascar with large parasite problems so it may be beneficial to take a fecal sample of each gecko to a veterinarian and then medicating them accordingly.
Wild-caught Uroplatus also often arrive severely dehydrated so it’s important to provide plenty of water to new arrivals by misting the cage frequently or even placing the gecko in a hydration or rain chamber for a few hours.

Now I'm not as familar with phantasticus, but my henkeli NEVER lay on the ground, so this may in fact have been a sign that something was wrong from the start.
