		Urotsukidoji is every bit an epic piece of animation which spans many years - a couple of generations in fact - but the longer it has continued the further downhill it has gone.
		Urotsukidoji is clever in a sense that it does well to mask certain areas so as not to lessen the overall impact, while staying within censorship laws of the time.
		Urotsukidoji appears to have been given a sizeable budget, it pulls off some spectacular feats during the action sequences, whereas for the more heavy dialogue based scenes the animation is a little bit weaker.

		This DVD contains urotsukidoji 1 and 2, the first one is incredible and the second one is ok. Theses films have become pretty infamous due to the excessive violence and nudity in the film.
		If you are a fan of urotsukidoji DONT BUY THIS, This version is badly butchered and censored and is missing the japanese voices, That would not be so bad if the dubbed voices were any good but they arent, I have never seen a subbed manga with voices this bad actually.
		See Urotsukidoji if you must, but it's best to take it with a pinch of salt - it seems to be in existence to deliver gore and sex scenes, which kind of spoil a rather interesting plot.

		I've made no bones about it over the years that I've found the original Urotsukidoji series, the five episode OVA show, to be one of the best hentai releases I'd seen and a show that early on that proved that even that genre can produce solid and engaging stories.
		The original Urotsukidoji series made a huge impact on me back in the early 90's when it first came out.
		Urotsukidoji: New Saga isn't problem free, both in technical and content, but after watching as much hentai as I have, this is one of the precious few that I will go back and rewatch over the next few years, just like the original.

	Absolute Anime / Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend
		No where on the DVD or the DVD case does it state that this is an edited version of the film, but I have my suspicions.
		With those suspicions in mind, I decided to do a little research, and what I discovered was that Urotsukidoji was actually originally a 5 part OAV series.
		The good news is that Urotsukidoji: Perfect Collection takes care of all these problems.
