Fortunately, The Gospel was not kept in the building of National Library in Belgrade, which German planes methodically bombed to the ground on April 6 1941; After the World War Two, Miroslav’s Gospel was placed in the building of the national museum, former museum of Duke Pavle.
Therefore, any differences between the reprint showing the state of the Gospel a hundred years ago and the present one can be used in determining the damage incurred in the intervening period, as well as the conditions under which the manuscript has been kept.

Evangelical Textual Criticism: A Minuscule Manuscript Quiz/Seminar 1
Up-date: another page from the Uspensky Gospels (ms 461; AD 835)
Though its text is identical (as far as I can tell) to 230, that MS has unfortunately the wrong number of lines per page to be our mystery MS.
The Uspenski Gospels (MS 461), on the other hand, has 19 lines per page like the mystery MS, and the plates of it that I have been able to find appear to be in much the same hand.

Minuscule - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Over time, uncial letter forms were increasingly mixed into the script.
The earliest dated Greek minuscule text is the Uspenski Gospels (MS 461) in the year 835.
The modern practice of capitalizing every sentence seems to be imported (and is commonly not used when printing Ancient Greek materials even today).

Translations of the gospels and epistles, lives of the saints, collections of sermons, exegetic religious works, translations of Greek chronicles, and miscellanies such as the Sbornik of St Sviatoslav, formed the staple of the national literature.
In the time of Tsar Simeon, himself an author, considerable literary activity prevailed; among the more remarkable works of this period was the Slzestodnev, or Hexameron, of John the exarch, an account of the creation.
Translations of the Gospels, school reading-books, short histories and various elementary treatises now appeared.

PRESERVATION OF THE REVELATIONS RECEIVED BY THE PROPHETS MUHAMMAD AND JESUS
The examination of all the MSS is bound to reveal hundreds of thousands of variations by the simple laws of statistics.
If we look just at the gospels we can see that textual critics can completely agree on the original text of only 2056 out of a total of 3769 verses, that is, on about half of the verses.
Consequently, it is not possible to say in any reasonable sense that the texts of the gospels individually and the New Testament as a whole have been faithfully preserved.

In 1718, the Uspenski church was totally destroyed in the conflagration of the Lavra.
The opening pages of the four Gospels are decorated with body color and gold in the form of vignettes, initials worked in the Balkan style (basketwork), distinguished by precise and painstaking drawing.
In 1643, the Gospel (Carte de îvâţaturâ) was published, including illustrations by the monk Ilya, one of the most prolific church engravers of the 17th century.

It is hard to say which of these is the most important; perhaps the preference belongs to the Uspenski Sabor (the Cathedral of the Resurrection), as the emperors are crowned in it, and the Patriarch formerly officiated there.
The four gospels, transcribed by the daughter of Michael, and sister of Alexis, are shown here.

They like to discuss not only on the case of Mary the Egyptian and of Mary Magdalene but also on some other examples taken from the Patristic Texts in which are presented the fallings of some monks followed by their repentance and reformation.
The yogis even found the phrase from the Gospel in which Jesus “praises” fornication: “Her multitude of sins is forgiven because she loved a lot” (Luke, 7, 47).

Date of P64 (Magdalen Papyrus of Matthew)
Indeed we have no dated manuscript of the NT until the Uspenski gospels of AD 835.
This is not particularly unusual, as literary documents were not customarily dated in antiquity (the first literary manuscript dated by the scribe is a text of Dioscorides from AD 512 now in Vienna).
This represents 2.6% of Matthew’s text and suggests a length for the whole gospel of 39 or 40 folios.
