		Usurp Synapse's side starts with an old man saying, "Do you know what a grave yard is?" A kind answers, "Well, I guess not." "A place where the dead sleep," he answers, and then the rock begins.
		The Synapse play four short and blistering songs in the vein of Orchid and The Red Scare.
		The thing that sets them apart is the guitar, which is often painstakingly high-pitched and squealing but always providing this blast of slightly melodious rock as the singer screams throat-wrenchingly.

		They started out as a screamo band, putting out split 7"s with bands such as Orchid, Usurp Synapse, and The Book Of Dead names, even releasing a 10" of their own, Seeing Means More Than Safety, in May of 2000.
		This is a band that accented Orchid and Usurp Synapse well, playing the same discordant screamo with short, nonsensical-titled songs and those trademark shrieking vocals.
		If you're looking for the screamo that you've come to know from Jerome's Dream, I reccomend their split with Usurp Synapse, because this sure is a long way off.

		February 27, 2000- The Void, Cincinnati, OH I think Racebannon and maybe Rune were supposed to play this show.
		Anyway, Cobra Kai and Usurp were the only ones to show, so they set up a "semi-circle of destruction" with their equipment set up simultaneously.
		It was very chaotic, and I couldn't even line the pictures up.
