  Remember the ABA: Utah Stars
The Stars had signed Zelmo Beaty (the All-Star NBA center) to a contract in 1968, and Beaty was eligible to begin playing for the Stars in the 1970-71 season.
The Stars dominated the Colonels en route to a 131-121 victory.
Big Z carried the Utah Stars to the 1971 ABA Championship and became known in Salt Lake City as "The Franchise." Here is Dan Pattison's written tribute to Beaty, which also appeared in the February 1998 issue of Utah Jazz HomeCourt Magazine.

Any player receiving a Fighting penalty as noted on the official score sheet, (other than players receiving such a penalty while participating with the Utah Stars), shall be suspended for the balance of that game and for the next three games of that team.
Upon each 1 year suspension, UHSH shall contact, in writing, the Utah Amateur Hockey Association and recommend that the offending player be suspended from any participation in any Utah Hockey program for the same 1 year period.

Now, University of Utah physicist Ben Bromley and colleagues elsewhere have performed calculations showing that for a super-Earth to form near a dim, cold red dwarf star, a "cosmic snowstorm" must occur so that the planet's rocky core picks up a lot of cold, sticky snow and ice.
Rocky planets form close to the star, where it is warm, while icy and gaseous planets form farther out, where it is cold.
Red dwarf stars are so dim and cool that their warm "habitable zones" are very close to the star, where there is very little planet-forming material.
