Premier Utkir Sultanov led a government delegation visiting Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek to discuss issues marring relations between the Central Asian nations.
Sultanov said an inter-governmental commission is drafting documents delineating their border, the Interfax news agency reported.
Sultanov also talked with Kyrgyz President Askar Akayev about an interruption in natural gas supplies from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan, two former Soviet republics which shared a common infrastructure before gaining independence in 1991.

Thirteenth session of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of Uzbekistan, second convocation, was held in Tashkent on 11-12 December.
During the first day of the session the deputies approved the President’s decrees on relieving Utkir Sultanov from the post of Prime Minister and appointing Shavkat Mirziyoyev, governor of Samarkand region, to this post.
