		When the Apollo spacecraft reentered the atmosphere it generated energy equivalent to approximately 86,000 kilowatt hours of electricity - enough to light the city of Los Angeles for about 104 seconds; or the energy generated would lift all the people in the USA 10-3/4 inches off the ground.
		The Apollo command module can sustain a hole as large as 1/4 inch in diameter and still maintain the pressure inside for 15 minutes, which is considered long enough for an astronaut to put on a spacesuit.

		The car is starting up really rough when cold (tach is jumping around, crazy sounds are coming from the engine), blue smoke is billowing out of the tailpipe, I have lost power on hills, and my mileage is down by 2 or 3 mpg.
		I was able to find one for $190 over at Fred's, so I told Apollo "no thanks" (to be fair, the other local VW dealers quoted me the same price, and our local foreign auto parts supplier - well trusted by my family - quoted $300 for the part).

		I watched a sitcom in which someone was ridiculed for thinking that the Apollo program and man on the moon stuff were all major scale hoaxes, in the same vein as 'Elvis is still alive'.
		There is the scientific contradiction of Apollo 13 when they were purportedly coasting through space with life-support turned off, sitting up there, huddled together "freezing".
		For life to exist within those radiation belts (through which Apollo would have had to pass), it would require at least an inch thick lead plating to shield from its harmful effects.

	Why a Tipo site?
		Later, my father (whom had a '92 Ford Verona (also 1,6L ethanol powered), which is a 2-door version of the European Ford Orion) bought him a better car (a VW Apollo, which is a VW version of the Verona) and we decided to sell my car.
		My mother was using the VW Apollo, which was the car used in the family trips (it´s identical to the Verona but has a more powerful engine, VW-manufactured).
		I even got to see a '96 VW Gol (Pointer for the Mexicans) from a diplomat from Portugal, the car was great, it had everything I wanted (power steering, windows and locks, air conditioning), but it was more expensive than I could afford.

		Whiteheads VW, VA Beach hours of diagnostics which I was NOT charged for, treated me VERY well, put their most experienced mechanic on it, referred me to a dealership in the area for computerized diagnostic/fuel injector volume test.

		After graduation in '64 I worked for Boeing in Huntsville, where they were designing the Saturn V rocket that was to carry the Apollo astronauts.
		In '66 I joined Federal Electric working on Launch Complex 34, 37 and 39 for all Apollo launches, the Apollo-Soyez mission, and the Skylab launches.
		In 1974, after building a VW beetle engine on the kitchen table, I drove it to the Humanistic Psychology Association national convention in Estes Park, Colorado and then spent about four months camping up the West Coast from Mexico to Canada while reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance".
