		Halilhodzic had spoken at length to PSG's new chairman Francis Graille but he insisted he wanted to stay at Rennes until the end of the current campaign as the Brittany outfit battled against relegation.
		Halilhodzic took over at Rennes in October to replace the sacked Philippe Bergeroo, but results have been disappointing and the club is deep in relegation trouble with just two games to go.
		Halilhodzic will be the latest in a long line of coaches at Paris St Germain dating back to its foundation in 1970.
