CNFC MATCH REPORT 13- vs PEWSEY VALE
Jamie Sampson was making the Pewsey center-half’s life a misery, pulling him into exposed wide areas and turning him inside out several times in the early exchanges, he skipped inside him and fired a shot across the face of goal, then went the other way, outside him and fired over a cross
It was not long however before the lead was doubled, on the half hour Jamie Clarke pinched the ball off of the dawdling Pewsey left-back and he calmly squared for Dennis to side foot home into an open goal, unselfish play from Clarke, many a player would have attempted a shot from a narrow angle.
Chippy retreated and were going through a flat period, and it was little surprise when Pewsey pulled a goal back, a corner from the left wasn’t cleared effectively enough by the defence and the loose ball was put at the far post by Martin.
