They are to vote on the proposal, which the cemetery trustees are strongly recommending, at a meeting Nov. 14.

I understand that as a result of the litigation the ensued, they are moving the newer bodies to other cemeteries and restoring markers pursuant to their known records as that was part of the final settlement.
The cemetery on 1st street was run by the County of Los Angeles--not the same thing.
